Welcome to Ms. Vache's Page!
Ms. Vache has a B.A. in Communication with minors in French and studio art and a Film Studies Certificate from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She also has a T.E.F.L. Certificate from Rutgers University and an M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. She initially went to France in college to study abroad and intern at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2000, she settled in Paris and began teaching English. Since her return to the States, she has taught French, ESL (English as a Second Language), and art to students of all ages in a variety of settings. Currently, she is teaching ESL and French at Excel High School. She holds after school sessions in French recovery and enrichment for students who choose to independently further their French studies beyond the level required for graduation and to prepare for the annual National French Exam. She also holds after school art sessions for students to explore different techniques of visual expression and to build their portfolios. Her passion is linguistic and visual communication, and she feels privileged to be teaching language to the highly motivated students of Excel.
